Australia’s US space tech treaty locked in

Australia and the US have agreed in principle to a new space technology sharing agreement two years after negotiations began and just weeks after the Albanese government slashed $77 million from space programs.

The US has also signalled an intent to establish a new Australia-based ground station supporting NASA’s upcoming Moon mission.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese visits the Gilmour Space facilities before heading to G7 meetings where the TSA was announced.
